Sessions are conducted online. When you schedule your appointment, I'll provide additional information about accessing our session(s) together.
Depending on your location, in-home services or a hybrid version may be offered with a combination of in-person or telehealth. South Florida in-person locations include Hallandale Beach, Hollywood, Dania Beach, and Aventura. We may be able to provide in-person sessions in surrounding locations, provided staff is available.
No, you do not need to live in the state of Florida. Telehealth therapy is an option for all clients in any location.
Sessions are generally around 45 minutes long.
Sessions are based on necessity. They are determined at the initial telehealth evaluation.
The accepted insurances include Medicare, workers' compensation, auto insurance, Cigna, and Medicaid. Self-pay may be an option if you do not have these insurances.
Please feel free to text or call (786) 253-8818 or (954) 405-4865.
Appointment times are available between 8 am – 6 pm; however, other times can be flexible depending on your specific needs.
Please provide 24 hours to cancel your appointments in the event of an emergency.
The first cancellation will be recorded without a fee. However, upon the second cancellation, if this prior notification is not received and your therapist is in transit or your therapist arrives at your home, a cancellation fee in the amount of one session will be deducted from your total changes. Therapy sessions can be discontinued and resumed upon request.
We are here to meet your specific needs!
Therapy options are recommended during a welcome call based on your specific needs.
You will be individually paired with a therapist (or therapists), and we'll create a schedule once the appropriate therapist is assigned. Flexibility to the schedule depends on your specific needs and can be adjusted as necessary within a 24-hour cancellation window.
We offer occupational, physical, and speech therapy services as telehealth.
With a smartphone, we can do the session on FaceTime, WhatsApp, or Duo. Typically, the best option is to use an iPad or computer to have a larger screen to experience the most details possible while completing the therapy session.
Treatment sessions are based on the needs determined at the initial evaluation. For example, exercises will be completed if there is an issue with the weakness of the arms. Or If there are problems with balance and walking, we'll address them.
Each session varies to meet the client's general needs and the day's specific needs. There will be a progression to complete a specifically tailored program from one session to the next.
You will be asked if there is something you want to work on during the session, and that will be considered and incorporated within the treatment visit.
We service adults of any range.
The evaluating therapist will have a master's degree or higher education, and the assistant or treating therapist will have a minimum of an associate's degree. Therapists are required to maintain their national board certification for their specific discipline.
We'll email the forms to you upon request.
Please return all forms before the initial evaluation to avoid time lost filling out forms during the therapy session.
We can keep your interest in mind while creating your treatment plan together. For example, we can address cooking, watering plants, and caring for your pet's needs and your own.
Therapy services can be combined to include OT and PT as a hybrid to accommodate your specific needs. Why limit yourself to one therapy or the other if you can have a therapist do both? If you prefer to have several therapists, that adjustment can be made as well.
A friend tried to dip herself without her dance partner's assistance and ended up tearing a ligament within her knee. She needed to brace herself after that one! Lol, pun intended!
Don't worry. We all make silly errors, but we're here to piece you back together and get you back to yourself.
